11, Durrani, Taimur Shah, AH1171/RY01, Rupee, Sahrind Mint

Sahrind - rupee of Taimur Shah as Nizam, AH1171. Ahmed Shah Durrani appointed his son Taimur Shah as his deputy in the aftermath of his fourth Indian invasion which took place in 1757.
The Durrani hold was short-lived - it was soon ended by the Marathas, under the command of Raghunath Rao Peshwa, Dattaji and Jankoji Sindhia and Malhar Rao Holkar - who chased off the Afghans across the Indus and brought Punjab under their control for a brief while.
