Amritsar, VS1862, Bershahi Rupee
These coins were rumored to be Moranshahi's and attributed to have been struck with reference to Moran, a dancer in Maharaja Ranjit Singh's court. But in reality it seems to be an experiment with the reverse symbol, and in all probability is a representation of the revered Ber trees in the Harmandir Sahib Complex, Sri Amritsar & shows the fruit laden sprigs.
