Multan, VS1881, Copper Falus, Nanakshahi Lot 1400 Steve Album Auction 17 SIKH EMPIRE: AE falus (12.33g), Multan, ND, KM-77var, Herrli-11.06.11, pipal leaf above the central divide, which is the b of zarb, superb strike, EF, RRR, ex Wm F. Spengler collection. The date is probably VS1881, with the top of the final "1" visible below the pipal leaf. The obverse symbols, a trisul at the left of the obverse and triplet of pellets within the alif of fadl, also on the obverse, correspond to the rupees dated VS1881-1883. Estimate $400-500
